Enclosures should look vertical, busy, and layered. The gecko needs multiple climbing paths, broad leaves for perching, and dense cover at several heights so it can choose its own microclimate.

- Cork bark flats and tubes, grippable, humidity-tolerant, reusable for years.
- Live plants: pothos, bromeliads, ficus, schefflera. Avoid anything with sticky latex or toxic sap.
- Fake plants are fine, the gecko does not care. Use them if you are not ready for a bioactive setup.
- Branches cut to wedge corner-to-corner create secure perches. Avoid sharp cut ends near the animal.
- One or two hides at ground level for daytime retreat. Coco huts, cork tubes, or a half-buried flowerpot work.
