# Juveniles (3 to 15 g)

The juvenile phase is the fastest growth window for its size. Feed consistently, weigh every 1 to 2 weeks, and move up from the hatchling tub when the animal reaches about 10 g.

- Feed fresh CGD daily or every other day. Never ration at this age.
- Insects (optional) 1 to 2 times per week, always dusted.
- Expect about 1 to 4 g a month under good husbandry. Temperature, diet and genetics all change the pace, so watch the trend, not one weigh-in.
- Sexing becomes possible around 15 to 25 g. Do not stress-handle to check sex, a confirmed-male juvenile can still be housed safely solo.
