Sub-adults (15 to 35 g), crested gecko care
Growth levels off toward the end of the sub-adult phase. This is also the age when morph identity locks in and the final enclosure upgrade happens.

- Feed CGD 3 to 4 times per week. Expect about 1 to 4 g a month, and weigh every 3 weeks.
- Adult enclosure (18×18×24 in) is appropriate from about 25 g.
- This is a good time to socialize handling if you intend to, calm 10-minute sessions 1 to 2 times per week.
- Morph evaluation at 25 to 30 g is more accurate than at hatch. Pattern "fade" and base color clarify as the animal approaches adulthood.
